FREE! We LOVE free! Although the main stage is chargeable and not in Sheffield town centre any more, the great news is, town is still FREE and has shed loads of bands, talented musicians, and entertainment for all the family. Re branded "The fringe"
It is almost impossible to get round every pub and venue that have live music on this weekend so here are a few of our favourite FREE things and places to go in Sheffield this weekend! and of course how you can claim your FREE BEER
Brew Dog
Friday is Pop Pizza Party from 8pm, Saturday is 100% vinyl and OMG it looks amazzzzzzzing! Motown, disco, funk, soul. Sunday from 4pm there is live Music right through until 9pm
Peddler warehouse
Our favourite weekend day sesh venue. So down to earth, such a mixture of people, all sattogether on sharing benches, you really do end up making new friends. Couple this up with outstanding street food and live music! YES, PLEASE!
Music begins at 4pm right through until midnight on both Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of July.
Revolucion de Cuba
Another fabulous venue to let your hair down and also one of our favourite areas of Sheffield, to enjoy with friends and family. The vibe here is awesome on an average weekend so I cannot wait to experience what they have in store for Tramlines weekend. Friday outstanding Motown, Soul, Latin and Reggae from 6pm until 3am with Saturday Disco and Salsa from 1pm and live percussion and DJ's until 3am! Ready for Sunday? Flamenco, Jazz and an 8 piece Salsa band with live music again until 3am .... I bet work Monday Morning will be fun for those who stay for the long haul!
Leopold Square
One random Saturday on a lovely hot day we went to Leopold Square for a steak but got more than we expected, Amazing live FREE music, Tastecard accepted and an offer on wine! plus a small toddler who enjoyed every minute of it.
Tramlines promises 100% Yorkshire talent and some bands that bring a smile to my face, I know just how good they are! Dizzy Club open Saturday day sesh from 3pm and 5pm Papa Soul is not to be missed. Sunday live music from various bands including Straight outta Yorkshire from 7pm
Peace Gardens
Saturday 12 midday - 9pm and Sunday 12 midday - 7pm
We adore the Peace Gardens and thrown back to five years ago, shovelling an ice cone into my mouth in the blazing heat, heavily pregnant with my son, this was my favourite place to people watch and enjoy exactly what tramlines was set up for, the PEOPLE and the MUSIC. The atmosphere at the Peace Gardens is always fantastic, a really beautiful place to chill out, with street food, kids and family entertainment and of course some OUTSTANDING music! This will be where we head first.
Devonshire Green
Saturday 12 midday - 9pm and Sunday 12 midday - 7pm
Another firm family favourite area. Totally FREE. Multi cultural music at its best. + Rumour has sit there is a Sing- a long family event on Sunday.
Barkers Pool
Saturday 12.30 to 7pm and Sunday 12.30 to 5pm
Craft stalls, street entertainment, rides and a bar .... I'M in !
