DO I QUALIFY FOR VAT FREE GOODS?

To get the product VAT free your disability has to qualify. For VAT purposes, you’re disabled or have a long-term illness if:

  • you have a physical or mental impairment that affects your ability to carry out everyday activities, for example blindness

  • you have a condition that’s treated as chronic sickness, like diabetes

  • you’re terminally ill

  • You do not qualify if you’re elderly but able-bodied, or if you’re temporarily disabled.

  • You’ll need to confirm in writing that you meet these conditions. 

DO YOU HAVE ANY LIGHT WEIGHT MOBILITY SCOOTERS?

We stock and extensive range of mobility scooters to suit your personal needs, we now stock the lightest mobility scooter available. The Alumina is the lightest mobility scooter on the market, however with such a great range of choice we highly recommend popping in and seeing what meets your needs. 

We also stock the Elev8. It is a fantastically innovative product designed for anyone who struggles to lift their mobility scooter or powerchair in and out of the car boot.

DO I NEED A DRIVING LICENSE?

No. but you may have to register your scooter as only certain types of mobility scooter can be driven on the road. (Our class 3)
Our Class 2 Mobility scooters can only go on the pavement, in shops and parks but not on the road.

HOW DO I RECHARGE A MOBILITY SCOOTER BATTERY?

You can recharge the battery by plugging the included charger into the side of the scooter Further advice on how to get the most from your batteries can be found here:

CAN I CARRY PASSENGERS ON MY SCOOTER?

No, all of our mobility scooters are rated for just the person driving it. Only double seat scooter can carry two people. Ask for more info on double seated scooter.

CAN I USE MY MOBILITY SCOOTER IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS?

Mobility scooters are designed to be used outdoors. The sunnier the day the better! however, your scooter is built to withstand Light snowfall and light rain however very heavy rain can be hazardous to the electrical components of your mobility scooter.

CAN I PART EXCHANGE MY MOBILITY SCOOTER?

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept most cards, cash, and cheque. 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY WEEKLY OR MONTHLY?
