BlueAssist dare to connect

Having known about BlueAssist for a while, it was really good to see BlueAssist at Naidex.

BlueAssist is a fantastic system that is designed to help anyone who has difficulty communicating no matter what the cause. Another incredible organisation dedicated to helping make lives better.

If you head to the BlueAssist website you can download BlueAssist cards completely free of charge but the other great alternative is there is a lite version of BlueAssist available via the APP store or google play. A simple version of the App which allows you to use the BlueAssist with 2 messages at any one time.

BlueAssist can be used almost anywhere, and more companies are getting on board. Having mentioned Northern Rail in my previous post in relation to getting about and travelling with a mobility or disability within South Yorkshire, it is really great to see that they have become a partner with BlueAssist and have been training up 5,000 of their staff members. TransPennine express are also a partner accepting the cards.

If you fancy a day out and are travelling around Yorkshire, it well worth noting that Jorvik Viking centre and Eureka, both partner with BlueAssist. Both museums are really popular with our family and if you haven't seen a viking poo, it's a must according to Shaun age 4!

Head to their website for full information. http://www.blueassistuk.org.uk/
